Chapter 2: The Fall of the Sunlit Kingdoms
The Eternal Emperor's conquest continued, and one by one, the sunlit kingdoms fell before his armies. The once-great cities that basked in eternal light now lay in ruins, swallowed by the creeping shadow. Each kingdom fought valiantly, but none could resist the relentless tide of darkness.
The Kingdom of Dawn was the first to crumble, its defenders overwhelmed by the shadows that seeped through their walls. Soon, the kingdoms of Twilight and Noon followed, their rulers brought low before the Emperor's growing empire. With each victory, the Eternal Emperor’s power grew, and the light of the world dimmed further.
The sun itself seemed to grow weaker, its light fading from the skies as the Emperor's shadow armies marched across the land. The world, once vibrant and full of life, now existed in a perpetual twilight, caught between day and night. In the face of such overwhelming darkness, hope began to fade from the hearts of the people.
Yet, whispers of rebellion still flickered in the darkest corners of the world. There were those who refused to submit to the Emperor's rule, hiding in the shadows and waiting for the day when the light would rise again. But the Eternal Emperor’s grip on the world was unyielding, and he would stop at nothing to maintain his dominion.
